We support you in your leadership transformation

We support you in your leadership transformation

on the way to collegial and interest-based leadership

The demands placed on managers are changing. More and more diverse challenges need to be integrated in the day-to-day work of a manager: Shortage of skilled workers, shorter product lifecycles, employee diversity, change in organisational strategy…

How can leadership be organised in a good, healthy and effective way int the current environment?

We are moving away from the idea that managers are solely responsible for managing an organisation. That they manage separate areas and act separately from each other. That managers are expected to develop solutions for acute and strategic issues without support from their team.

Instead, our approach is one of collegial (and, where possible, interest-driven) management.

What do we mean by that?

Collegial leadership means establishing and expanding structures and skills to enable managers to network more closely with each other and flexibly coordinate their areas of responsibility. A basic principle of collegial leadership is the “role model”. A role is a bundle of different tasks. Unlike fixed positions, roles can be changed.

This allows tasks to be reorganised (e.g. one manager takes onboarding on behalf of several areas); strengths and interests can be better utilised (e.g. project work is managed by a management team of two); innovative products and processes can be piloted more quickly (one area tests and the experience is shared across the board).

Once this form of collegial leadership has been implemented in a stable manner, the next step is to involve employees in management tasks…

Why is this important?

The day-to-day work of managers is challenging and often characterised by too much work and responsibility. We would like to support you in changing the way you deal with work in order to (re)discover energy and fun in what you do!

We are particularly familiar with this:

  • Collegial and interest-driven leadership
  • Adaptive leadership
  • How do I manage myself?
  • (New) Work Hacks
  • The art of saying “Yes, and …“

The art of saying “Yes, and ...”

Strengthening collaboration through improvisation (8 - 16 participants)

How do we create a culture that promotes openness, flexibility and creativity in the long term? This workshop teaches managers and teams the principles of improvisation as the key to innovative collaboration. With a focus on solution-orientated thinking and positive communication, participants will experience how the ‘Yes, and…’ attitude creates new opportunities and strengthens team dynamics. The principles of improvisation – openness, flexibility and active listening – are taught and interactive exercises are used to promote spontaneity, resilience and creativity in the team. In addition, guidance is offered to transfer  the new approach into daily work and when challenges arise.

Optionally, the workshop can be deepened with practical examples or guest speakers from the creative and corporate world.
